The Project
The Mesaimeer Interchange represents a pioneering development in Qatar, heralded as the "First-of-its-Kind" for its integration of six key thoroughfares: E-Ring Road, Doha Expressway, the southern segment of Doha Expressway, Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor, Industrial Area Road, and Rawdat-Al-Khail Street.
Situated to the south of Doha's city center, this project encompasses vital arteries such as E-Ring Road, Wholesale Market, and Mesaimeer Streets, extending from the intersection of E-Ring Road with Al Matar Street to the junction with Al Khufoos Street. Additional connections include Al Muntazah Street and the F-Ring Road, which will link to the future Wakrah Bypass corridor.
The Mesaimeer Interchange not only facilitates crucial north-south traffic flow but also offers direct accessibility to key destinations including Al-Wakrah, Al-Wukair, and the Industrial Area. Positioned within a bustling area housing essential facilities, notably the prestigious Al Thumama Stadium, a prominent venue during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the interchange serves as a central hub for regional connectivity and development.
