The Project
Impressions from the project process
A total of 9 circular piers with 3.60 m diameters and 40 cm wall thicknesses will subsequently carry a steel platform for the condenser.
The circular‑shaped piers steadily extend upwards by means of the CB 240 climbing formwork and VARIO GT 24 formwork elements to a height of around 26 m. The units, consisting of formwork and scaffolding, can be quickly moved by crane to the next concreting cycle. The PERI UP Alu 64 stairs provide safe and secure access to the working areas.
The PERI UP modular scaffolding forms the shoring for up to 5.30 m high slab in the turbine building. The legs are simply bundled together in areas of high load concentrations – the system can therefore be optimally adapted to suit the loads.
The base area of the turbine structure measures 30.50 m x 12.00 m, and is characterized by its massive walls, beams and slabs. The proven, load‑bearing GT 24 girder with high bending stiffness is one of the main components used for the project‑specific formwork.
In order to form a massive arched slab in the turbine building, PERI engineers planned a cost‑effective support structure consisting of rentable system components taken from the VARIOKIT engineering construction kit.

Project Information
Luka Popržen
Project Manager for the Construction Phase (MD-Perić Company)
PERI developed a safe and fast formwork solution for us. The simple technical solution and the excellent assembly plans have helped us extremely well in efficiently implementing the formwork and concreting work. The continuous technical support has also been particularly helpful, and has simplified our operations.
